TNT
In block-matching games, there’s something called TNT—a reward you get when you align the pieces perfectly. If used wisely, it can lead to bigger TNTs and create an advantage, helping you clear the game. Yet, even in this simple pastime, I often find myself holding onto the TNT, saving it for the perfect moment, only to lose the game without ever using it. A classic case of ‘saving it for later and losing it entirely.’ I’ve realized I’m the kind of person who saves the good things. I save them for later, for someone else, or I wait so long that they go unused or are thrown away. This habit applies to happiness and joy, too. If you don’t take the time to savor the little moments, bigger joys won’t come easily. Since learning this, I’ve decided to embrace and enjoy the small rewards and happiness that come my way, just as they are. Joy grows when we allow ourselves to celebrate even the smallest of wins.
